Man Covers 95% Of His Body With Tattoos, Showing Off His Pre-Tattoo Look

In an incredible transformation, a guy has spent about forty thousand pounds getting a whole new set of tattoos on his body in an attempt to redefine who he is. After receiving his first tattoo in 2016, Tristan Weigelt, now 25 years old, is a living example of the transformational potential of ink. He has undergone 260 hours of hard needle work. He is essentially unrecognizable from his pre-ink appearance due to the astounding outcome.

American-born Tristan, who currently lives in Copenhagen, has amassed a sizable Instagram following that documents his tattoo adventure as it has developed. His audacious choice to tattoo 95% of his body—leaving just his hands, his genitalia, the bottoms of his feet, and his ears—demonstrates his dedication to the medium.

Motivated by “Japanese tradition,” Tristan proudly displays his commitment to body art with an orange tattoo suit featuring a dragon on his back. Tristan accepts his distinctive alteration with confidence and no regrets, even in the face of frightening glances and occasional rejection, especially from his parents.

Tristan’s narrative gains depth from his candor regarding the difficulties he faces on a social and physical level. Painful regions such as the foot, solar plexus, armpits, and cheeks served as canvases for his elaborate patterns. The visible and unseen scars have aided in the healing process, which Tristan refers to as a “long journey of pain and healing.”

Surprisingly, Tristan claims that on the inside, he is still the “same old me,” despite the external transformation. He says he still recognizes himself in previous pictures, proving that the colorful tapestry of tattoos on his body hasn’t changed who he is at his heart.

Tristan has made the decision to return the favor after making his first tattoo. His goal is to help others fulfill their tattoo ambitions. He gives prospective tattoo aficionados simple advice: get a tattoo you love, something that speaks to you individually, and don’t worry about fitting a specific style. As he considers his personal development, Tristan highlights how society’s opinions have changed and how something that would have appeared unthinkable five years ago now forms a significant part of who he is.

Tristan’s story is an inspirational tale of self-expression and the growing acceptability of substantial body art. He intends to continue his tattoo journey by finishing the ink coverage on his face in early 2022. Accepting his position as a living painting, Tristan defies conventions and inspires others to forge their own unique routes through the ever-expanding world of tattooed self-expression.
