Thanks to their parts in the television series *Three’s Company*, which ran in the late 1970s and early 1980s, Suzanne Somers and Joyce DeWitt rose to fame. Janet Wood, portrayed by Joyce DeWitt, was a conscientious and astute roommate who frequently found solutions to issues that Chrissy and Jack brought about. “Janet was intelligent, responsible, and frequently had to solve the problems that Chrissy and their other roommate, Jack, got into,” the original report stated.
