Not the most crazy part is that the couple had three sets of twins in a short period of time.

The story of the Wisconsin-based Kosinski family is just amazing. They recently welcomed their own set of twins into the world and are currently in the process of adopting two sets of twins. The most remarkable aspect? Although they were born in different years, all of these twins have the same birthday, February 28.

Adoption had always been part of the family plan for Carrie and Craig Kosinski, who lived on their farm in Union Grove. Carrie’s motivation stemmed from her personal history of being adopted as a child. But before they went for adoption, they first wanted biological children. When they had to confront a medical verdict, their journey took an unexpected turn.

Carrie, 28, was identified by medical professionals with endometriosis and other issues that hindered natural conception. They were forced to expedite their adoption arrangements in light of this discovery.

Carrie articulated her desire for a larger family that could offer love and companionship by drawing on her own experience of growing up in a family of nine, including her own adoption.

In July 2013, one of their high school friends reached out to them, sparking the start of their incredible trip. This friend asked if the Kosinskis would consider adopting her twins, who are due on February 28, 2014. Remarkably, the biological mother had previously given birth to a different pair of identical twins on the same day a year prior.

After accepting this proposal, the couple became the twins’ legal guardians within three months, naming them Kenna and Adalynn. With the addition of the younger set of twins, their family had now extended by two.

Amazingly, the biological mother approached the Kosinskis again a year after they accepted their new role as Kenna and Adalynn’s parents. Due to her difficult financial circumstances, she respectfully requested that the couple extend their guardianship to the older twins, JJ and CeCe, who are now four years old. The Kosinskis readily consented to include these two more kids in their devoted family.

They faced substantial expenses while adopting both sets of twins. They were thrilled to learn that the One Chance Foundation, which was started by best-selling author Karen Kingsbury, had awarded them a $4,000 grant. Despite never having met the Kosinskis, Kingsbury’s foundation was profoundly touched by their narrative.

The sincere response from their foundation was stated by Karen Kingsbury: “We were moved by the idea that these siblings may grow up together. In our office, we were crying.”

However, the Kosinski family’s growth was not over. Thanks to IVF treatments, the couple learned with surprise that they were expecting their own twins. On February 28, Clarissa and Karraline, these biological twins, arrived earlier than expected.

Carrie called their biological twins “little miracle babies,” considering the difficulties they had at birth. Eight people make up their family presently, and they lead very active lives on their farm in Wisconsin. Insanely, Carrie observed, “There’s never a dull moment in our house.” The journey of the Kosinski family is proof of love, resiliency, and the amazing tie that unites family.
