A vehicle that belonged to Samantha Jean Hopper, who vanished from Arkansas 23 years ago along with her kid,
has been discovered with human remains inside, submerged in eight feet of water. The car was found on Tuesday by Adventures With Purpose, a nonprofit organization that solves unsolved cases.
On September 11, 1998, Hopper was last saw traveling to Little Rock. It was confirmed by the Pope County Sheriff’s Office that DNA testing will be conducted on the remains.
They sent the families their sympathy. Dezarea, Hopper’s daughter, stated that her mother was nine months pregnant when she disappeared and that learning of the remains provided some comfort.
