Donald Trump, the former president, is gaining popularity in parts of the country where it would have seemed unthinkable to others.
According to the Daily Wire, the former president made his point last week in former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s backyard by raising nearly $12 million at a fundraiser with prominent members of the IT industry.
The fundraiser was held at the Pacific Heights home of venture capitalists David Sacks and Chamath Palihapitiya. Sacks and Palihapitiya co-host the popular podcast “All-In.” Attending might cost anywhere between $50,000 to $500,000, depending on the benefits. The event was attended by numerous well-known venture capitalists and cryptocurrency investors.
During the fundraiser, Harmeet Dhillon, a member of the Republican National Committee, said the former president was “relaxed, happy, and cracking jokes about AI.” READ MORE BELOW
