A man who fatally beaten his 2-day-old infant must face horrific consequences as his cellmate learns of his secret.

A lifeless body was discovered in the cell of a father who had fatally punched his newborn daughter.

Less than a month after being sent to prison for the death of his daughter, Liam Deane was discovered dead. John Westland, a prisoner who showed up in court after Deane’s body was found, was accused of killing Deane.

Luna was only two days old when Deane admitted to hitting and shaking her because she “would not stop crying.” As a result, Deane was charged and placed in jail. Luna suffered brain damage and passed away three days later. He received a life sentence for the murder.

At the time, the prosecutor stated in court, “[Deane] said he was responsible for all of the injuries that she had suffered and he said that Luna had not settled down and he lost control,” according to Mirror.

The defendant’s [conduct] cannot in my opinion be explained,” Richard Wright, Deane’s attorney in Leeds, England, stated at the time of the hearing. “What he did was completely and totally out of character for him. The accused will have a very lengthy period to consider his appalling actions.

Wright gave a statement from Luna’s mother throughout the trial.

The message said, “Being in the hospital and seeing Luna on life support will stay with me forever.” I’m not sure how to put it. My worst enemy would not receive it in my opinion.”

Numerous readers expressed their opinion that Deane deserved to die for killing his daughter.

“Justice was done! Regretfully, the defenseless, priceless child passed away at the hands of the person who ought to have been the protector. A Facebook reader wrote, “I hope the judge considers the awful death of this infant and sentences the cellmate to a light sentence for this “crime.”

“I have always heard that there is honor among thrives/ prisoners, and that they detest baby killers, child molesters, mis treatment of old people, guess the killer got his due,” wrote another.

“Justice was only served by his cellmate the courts system failed that child he was a scumbag pos that deserved to die and the courts system only slapped him on the hand,” another stated.

“Even though I oppose murder, I don’t think 10 years is appropriate punishment for someone who perpetrated such a heinous crime. For less serious crimes, some people are receiving longer sentences. Another said, “I’ll just say that KARMA IS A B***H.”
