A policeman gave a bottle of prison lubricant to a young man who had shot at him and his son as a form of insult (see the video below).
The officer started harassing Kevin Rojas when he was in court to be sentenced to life in prison for trying to kill the unnamed officer.
Rojas ambushed the cop when he was driving an unmarked car with his kid. “I will take those bullets instead of a fellow officer or innocent bystander,” the officer said Rodriguez. “When I brought the fight back, you ran like a coward.”
Rojas, 21, was informed by the officer that he had “brought a little gift” for him.
The officer stated, “You will need it where you are going,” according to WJAX. Then he produced a KY lubricant bottle.
The cop received a lot of praise from readers for having the guts to confront the man who had tried to kill him.
“Too bad the cop [didn’t] take out his weapon in the courtroom and kill that piece of s**t right there save taxpayers a lot of money,” a reader wrote on Facebook.
I shouldn’t chuckle, but that is truly invaluable. It’s fortunate that the teenager’s son wasn’t hurt and that the creep didn’t kill anyone,” someone else commented.
Well done, cop. That was a very fitting farewell gift for the thug. Fantastic,” a second person said.
According to The Florida Times-Union, Rojas was found guilty of two charges of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, grand theft auto, attempted manslaughter, and attempted first-degree murder. He was also sentenced.
“I hold the cop not accountable. For no reason at all, this jackass ruined his life. The judge made the proper decision. You cannot lose this nut. If he survives to be sixty, he might be in better health. Maybe then, if they can let him escape. For now, I wouldn’t lose much sleep about it,” a Times-Union reader wrote.
The fact that the criminal attempted to kill the cop did not stop some readers from criticizing the officer for teasing him.
“That officer is a true professional. You could be annoyed, but in your [address] during this thug’s sentencing, you shown neither honor nor integrity by using a gimmick—at best, a dumb one. A reader wrote, “I hope the department sees what you really are.”
Some demanded that Rojas receive a more severe penalty.
“Life without parole is absurd. One reader said, “Anyone dangerous enough to get life in jail should just be [swiftly] killed instead of continuing to be a burden on society for years to come.
