One of the most popular couples in Hollywood is Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell. Although the two had lived in Los Angeles for a long time, she has now disclosed the reason behind her decision to migrate.

Given the two terrible events she and her family have experienced in their own house, Goldie Hawn disclosed that she no longer finds the glitter and glitz of Los Angeles appealing.

TThe seasoned actress stated during her appearance on Kelly Ripa’s “Let’s Talk Off Camera” podcast that she intends to leave the city, particularly after she and her family experienced two break-ins in a short period of time.

She revealed that she and Kurt Russell, her longtime companion, have been considering possible relocations. According to them, Palm Desert is a pleasant place and safer than Los Angeles, which they now perceive to be “dreadful.”

Hawn described how she and her family had been victims of two break-ins. She disclosed that the burglars had attempted to enter her property in both instances, and that one group of them had been successful in doing so, searching through their rooms.

“They completely knocked down my door, which is a safe door, so they’re very, very sophisticated, and they got a lot of my goodies, if you know what I mean,” she said, revealing the full scope of the heist.

Four months after the initial heist, the couple was robbed again as they attempted to move on from the experience. When she realized that L.A. might not be the perfect place for her, the entire experience truly spurred her into action. She was so shaken by the experience that she is still always on alert and finds it impossible to unwind.

The residence of Goldie Hawn is not the only location where burglaries have occurred. In 2024, several high-profile names, including King Bach, Corinna Kopf, Farrah Aldjufrie, and Patrick Patterson, were reported as the subject of crimes.
